Hi, sister! I’m so glad that you found your way to this virtual dinner party, The Celebrate Daily. I want to welcome you to our table. We’re about good talks, deep laughs, and honest cries here.

Picture yourself at the ultimate party - where the table is full, the conversations are rich, and everyone feels a sense of belonging. A party where celebration, or praise, drums in your heart and a joy bubbles up in you to overflowing. Sister, I believe that this picture can be true of your life. Through The Celebrate Daily, we want to inspire you to live a life of celebration & a life that reflects this ultimate party picture.

The Celebrate Daily was created because we believe that you were made to celebrate.

Do you long to suck the marrow out of life through the good times and bad?

Do you want to face life with more intention, more gratefulness, and more joy?

Do you want to cherish each and every moment of life & stop letting it pass you by?

If you’re saying, “Yes!” to any of these questions then you’re in the right place.

We’re on this journey with you.

What ‘celebrate’ means to me?

‘Celebrate’ to me means finding praise in all things.

I learned to celebrate best during one of the hardest seasons of my life a few years ago. Six months after my father passed away unexpectedly, we found out that my mom had pancreatic cancer. Pancreatic Cancer has a 5% life expectancy rate after the first year of diagnosis so we knew that the prognosis was grim. At the time, all I knew to do, almost instinctively, was to celebrate. I was ferocious about making memories, recording them, naming the good, and sucking the marrow out of each moment we had together. During the 17 months she lived with cancer, I did that well in my heart and home. The two and a half years following her passing, I celebrated poorly. I felt lost and immobile and like a piece of me had gone dormant. I had forgotten how to celebrate. I had forgotten all that there was that was worthy of praise. This space is a place for me to reclaim that part of my heart and to be ferocious once again about making the most of each moment of this beautiful gift called life.
